This is what I have decided I am at work.

There are so many things I have been left out of the loop on in the past couple weeks, I can't even recount them all. It is just one flaming dysfunction after another. I am someone who is detail oriented and am very possessive of my office which I have been managing for almost 5 years. Things seem to be slipping out of my control at a conspiracy level. Here's one anecdote that was more funny than anything else:

The new media person called me to say she was coming down to do an interview with a newspaper. I said "Great! I have been doing most of the downstate interviews, so I'm glad you're on board to do it." She said "...Oh...No one told me that." I said "Well, I've been through the media training and everything, but it's not my favorite thing in the world, so it's great that you can come down" And she said "YES....I prefer to do it." And I wanted to say "Whatever, bite me, you can do everything" but I just said "Great!" Then she said "Let me give you my extension" and I said sure, even though it's the same as the LAST 2 people that have been in her position. Then when she actually came down her demeanor was sort of terse and odd with the interviewer and she had me answer a lot of the questions about our services since she's been working here for all of 5 minutes. So I tried to soften our delivery and connect with the interview and I think it went well. I might be in the Delaware State News paper tomorrow. So we chatted for a little bit and she says "Let me give you my card" Now keep in mind, I've worked for this organization for over 6 years, and have outlasted a large number of people in the administrative office. Not to mention I'm constantly there for meetings and committees. I stared at her for a moment and said "Um, I know where you are" And she said "Oh, that's right, you've probably been there."

Are you kidding me? I felt trampled upon and unappreciated before, but now there are so many new people they are going to assume I just fell off the turnip truck rather than being one of the most knowledgeable people in medical services? I am counting down the days. Time for a glass of wine and a good cry.

If you were a guy and had another male roommate move in and he brought literally dozens of skin care products including face/body scrubs, acne creams, chemical peels, masks, and other acne products what would you think? Would you think he was weird or not even care.
I have had some pretty bad acne since I was 13 (now 22), and simply need all these things to keep my acne under control. I cannot afford to see a dermatologist anymore and simply feel that more natural remedies are the way to go rather than being put on oral medication.

There are many bras that I do not like from VS, but this bra is great! This is coming from someone who is not too fond of super low cut bras that squish the breasts together so closely. I like how this bra is not too stiff or too soft. It gives deep cleavage, but it does not squish me in an uncomfortable way. Also, I think it looks awesome under any shirt. I've heard that this bra does not work well for many people, but I am glad that it works for me, since not all VS bras do!

I'm attempting to get a few things straight in my head and wondered whether anybody dealing with HPV has had the situation i have. About 15 years ago i was told by a gyno that HPV had turned up on my test results after he had to do a pap smear. Prior to seeing him i used to go to a pathology place for my smears, but they couldn't ever get a real result due to my cervics bleeding the moment they touched it. So i was referred to the gyno.

A couple years later the same thing, pathology couldn't get a result due to instant cervical bleeding, sent to a gyno. This time round he didn't find any signs of HPV.

When i asked the first gyno about HPV and what it was etc etc, he said no big deal and i didn't need to do anything. When i asked the second gyno about the previous result of HPV, he said to not worry as all was clear and he couldn't see any signs of HPV.

I stopped doing pap smears for a number of years later as it all seemed like too much of a hassle and i was married and it was just one of those things you forget about. Later on i thought i should begin getting smears done 'just in case'. So the same thing began happening, bleeding the moment they touched my cervix. I was simply told my cervix was 'friable'.

I had a colposcopy one and a half years ago and another one today. My new doctor wants to send me to a gyno. She didn't seem to find it necessary to do a HPV test. She said there were so many forms of bacteria which people can pass across to one another during sex. She said for my cervical situation that i and my partner ought to take an antibiotic, then i have to go back to her in a month and if the 'infection' as she calls it has gone then i'm in the clear, but if it's still there she'll send me to a gyno to do a procedure on my cervix. I think she means the one were they freeze the affected area and it toughens up the thin skin so it doesn't bleed so easily.

She asked me whether i bleed after sex and i don't, but i did for the first time recently, bleeding for 3 days, lightly though, nothing too major, but out of the norm for me.

So now i'm TOTALLY bamboozled. Does HPV cause this to occur to the cervical lining? I don't have warts and never have (unless they take years to grow and are yet to appear!!). Do gyno's do HPV testing to see if you have it and the strain or should it come up on the pap smear result if i had it?

I don't see how my cervical situation is due to my partner. We've both had FULL STD checkups and each time i have a pap smear they check for chlamydia anyway. I just thought this doctor today would shed more light on the issues as she is also linked to a sexual health clinic. Guess i'll do the antibiotics and see where things go.

Okay, you're only suppossed to be using lotion, so that's good that you are, many people do not, and they can ruin their tattoos that way. I commend you. I hope you have been using an unscented lotion. Lotion is good for your tattoo when the lotion is white, unscented(fragrance free), and contains no alcohol. Lotion that are colored, scented with alcohol or petroleum are the only lotions harmful to your tattoo. Okay, for a note for all to see, a respponse. Vaseline is NEVER good for a newer tattoo. NEVER use Vaseline or neosporin/ploysporin/triple antibiotic for a tattoo. Products with alcohol or petroleum ar harmful to your new tattoo.Those can and will dry out your tattoo, promote bacteria which promote infection, and raise the risk of it, can pullthe color out when new..etc. A%26amp;D, Aquaphor, tattoo goo...etc are all good fot new tattoos..





You can stop after the skin peels, and if it has been for two weeks you should be fine. Keeping your tattoo moisturized helps the tattoo heal (notice how the tattoo can look wrinkly after it peels.) After two weeks, that skin should have settled and smoothed, so you should be fine. But everyone heals differently, and it can take different amounts of time, and I cannot look at it to tell you, but if it peeled, then it must of not scabbed so badly, so I believe you should be fine.





Don't completely ignore it with lotion when it is healed, even years later it's just like the rest of your skin, so it can dry out, especially since it's winter and all. but no need to apply it religiously anymore..





But you should be fine. Always remember, if you're unsure about something to do with you tattoo, you can always ask your tattoo artist! They should answer any questions you should have. :-)

Reply:When it is healed. It should no longer be shiny and be no dryness or scabs. It is a good idea to but cream on it daily to help keep the skin from drying out and help keep the colors bright.
Reply:If it's already healed, there's no reason to keep putting lotion on although it's not a bad idea to keep putting lotion on for another 2 weeks to make sure it's fully healed and to keep it from fading and drying out. If you don't, no REAL damage can occur. It's already in your skin. Just don't scratch for a while because it may still itch from time to time. You may want to try A %26amp; D ointment to keep it moist longer since it's an ointment and not a lotion.
Reply:If the skin has already pealed and your tattoo looks and feels healed and isn't itchy, you can probably stop applying the lotion. But you might want to consider still applying it after showering or swimming or if it starts to feel tight and itchy.
Reply:You can probably stop now and I think you're supposed to use vaseline or antibiotic ointment to minimize the scarring versus lotion where it may have perfumes in it.
Reply:You can probablly stop putting it on as frequently, it is important not to let it dry out though. My husband still puts lotion on his back once a week and it's been a year since he's gotten work done. It is still as vibrant as the day the scabs fell off!
Reply:Once it stops peeling you're fine. The lotion is just to make sure your tattoo doesn't dry up while it's healing. Once you've had the skin peel off the tattoo has healed. From now on, you can apply the lotion if you feel your skin getting dry or if you want to make your tattoo look shiny and new for a showing but it's not mandatory anymore.
Reply:To keep the tattoo looking good for a long time..(like years) it is good to put lotion on every day once it has healed. It will keep the colors and the tattoo looking bright.
Reply:I've been tattooed most of my adult life and I agree with Miss Murder with the exception of neosporin cream with pain relief during the first 3 days of the tattoo, not on the tattoo itself but around it to relieve the pain that some may feel....like road rash, also keep using cream long after it's healed to keep them looking good.

* 1 close relative diagnosed with breast cancer before they were 50 years old and ovarian cancer at any age
A close relative means a parent, brother or sister, grandparent, aunt or uncle, nephew or niece. To get the average age of 2 relatives, add the ages together and divide by 2. So if one relative was 35 and the other 65, the average age is 50.
If your grandmother carried one of the
CA genes, your father has a 50% chance of having inherited it, as did your aunt. If he did inherit it, you have a 50% chance of having inherited it.
Your maternal grandmothers breast cancer, having been diagnosed in her 70s, is not likely to be hereditary, especially if it was an isolated case in the family.
