The bottoms are marked $56.00 from a previous resale shop, but I'm selling them for $32.00 -- most of that will go straight into my Avon Breast Cancer Walk fund (with the exception of shipping bucks.)

RE: FOIA, request and statements.
Dear FOIA of FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement)
I do not know weather we should laugh or cry at the Sheer Desperation of Charlie Crist to find a way into office when no one wants him there. We ONLY chose him because the Democratic party did not produce a likable enough candidate. Not because of anything he ever did on his own. Perhaps he already knows that all these acts are a reflection of his knowledge. Yours too.
Tell me FDLE under the Freedom of information act, and I want an answer, when Crist knew by sending the request to your office instead of doing any investigation himself which he could easily have done, when he did that with the intent of labeling me mentally unstable, which is so common now to sabotage those who have evidences against you of a criminal nature in this State, much like an old shoe chewed too many times, as an excuse to character attack ones opponent or to stop the believability of the exposure of corruption ( I do not know about you, but, sending millions of dollars intended for victims of crimes, paretically when one is up for Governorship, to some attorney group who sits on some board in our city who do not even do criminal cases, millions of dollars to buy support), tell me sirs, FDLE, when Crists Office requested prior to running for Governor and he learned we had uncovered the information of the fraud of the VOCA funding, do you think by any chance that by sending the background check to YOUR office sirs, that perhaps you agreed to create, store and distribute Dedicated files out of your office only because He could not do so out of his own Attorney General Office? So you agreed on paper, to do his dirty work for him?
Tell me FDLE, do you not think that is the act of an incredible diabolical coward in our State?
Files of this nature, were done in agreement with his office to ensure those asking or those checking, on my case, in what you claim are confidential files, but all know this state never had a history of keeping anything confidential, you intentionally created a black list of myself in agreement with Mr. Crist, setting this whole thing up because law enforcement made a royal mess of the case of rape against my daughter.
The rape and stalking almost death of my daughter, FDLE was encouraged by these files distributed in the State by your office. FDLE decides if law enforcement officers can continue working in this state, so the word was out under your distribution and I suppose if an officer did not follow along, then you could create a Dedicated file on him or her also? Is that why sir, these bogus files you and Crist chose to establish on record, were signals to those officers who were investigating that case, signals to allow her and I to die and to refuse to do police reports, restraining orders, exposed her illegally on the Internet, were those the things your office chose to agree to do with Charlie Crist? Doss was run under Crist and did not breath without his permission. The woman who sent the paperwork, would never have done so with Crist up for election as he was intending, unless Crist had sanctioned the move himself. Never. So in fact, it was Crist who ordered the black balling files and it was your office that thought it was such a great idea.
The false information Mr. Martin put into those official files, were another blackballing of my name and my position on open records in mockery of what Mr. Martin was fully capable of doing, not that just prior I had sent him letters stating the OIG had agreed that the funds were being misused. Just letters prior. A mockery by Mr. Martin who appears to agree the only way to Get Crist elected is by the unethical and illegal distribution of false information of those who know he does not have an honest body in his being, and heaven forbid we actually put an ethical person into office for once. It might actually keep us out of recessions but who wants that in this state?
Tell me FDLE, if Crist was so bold to use his staff to do his dirty work and you agreed to do it, and the excuse you did not know the law will not hold up because Mr. Martin, you are an attorney, you knew it was illegal to do what your office did, if he got you who can prosecuted under Federal Jurisdiction, to do it sirs, then tell me, how many other agencies did he contact to do more dirty work in our State concerning me or did he leave it up to FDLE to distribute the false information and black ball me around the State? Do you not see, how cowardly you all look at this point and pathetic along with him you appear.
Is that why I was left with Cancer Mr. Martin. Is that the part you found amusing today when we briefly spoke on the phone? You found that worth a chuckle?
Another questionWhen I speak of Dedicated files, why is it, every single State Employee, no matter who they are or what position they are in, know automatically what I am talking about when I only learned days ago of the Legislation behind dedicated files Sirs? Dedicated files were created under the Family Emergency Act to collect data based on the kidnapping of children in our state to be given to multiple state police forces and agents. However, every, every, single state employee, knows what a dedicated file is and what it means Mr. Martin and FDLE. Why is that sirs? It was never, ever intended to be used to blackball a private citizen, discredit a political opposer, abuse those filing legitimate complaints, yet that is exactly what your office has done with it.
How many do you threaten the media with if they report these acts sir? How many hidden dedicated files do you have on record total sirs? On what people? On what political party? By what nationality? Give us a run down under the Freedom of Information Act.
When we uncovered the CDC center was illegally supporting Charlie Crist good old boys in this state and uncovered it, and the FOIA director sent a letter stating I had cussed an employee out, which I never did, and I told Senator Bradenburgs aid, Tipton in writing, it was created for some file somewhere that was blackballing me in the State long before you sent the files confirming the State FDLE are engaging in these actions, tell us, is her statement in that file sir as I guessed the bogus defamation of character was created only for?
Your office deliberately withheld files sir, because I know you did. I kept many of them. There was the file sent to you on my learning that the man that raped my daughter was convicted yet, never put up on FDLE predator list though he agreed to it in plea bargaining. Charlie Crist knew that, by emails I kept. You should have a record because I informed you that if you did not follow the law and refuse to post him I would contact the Federal Government and turn your office in. Where is that file Mr. Martin? I have it, do you want a copy of it?
There is also the file you did not send with my name on it, where a gun was sold and two people forged my name to the sell of that gun and it was reported to your office. You dismissed it, and now we know why no act done against me is ever stopped and is approved by FDLE. Dont we FDLE? Do you want a copy of those files sir? I kept them.
You did not send Mr. Martin, the case files of the man that raped, stalked and tried to kill us both, and you let it happen, but by gosh we got those most important vital undeniable dedicated files ordered by Charlie Crist to be distributed State Wide by the FDLE office when he was being exposed as corrupt under the Attorney General Office.
You failed to include the complaints filed against our Local Sheriff when he posted the picture of my daughter who was 15 on the police blotter on the Internet sir where he knew name was exposed so her stalker could find her with the purpose of the stalker finding her, did you FDLE? That was filed with your office, but we certainly have that dont listen to her dedicated file under my name created by Charlie Crist attorney General now Governor of our state, who thinks..if he makes it to Senate, he can take Obamas Job in a couple of years and is diabolically making the move to do so.
What makes you think Obama is so stupid he has not already figured all of you out sirs? Oh wait, you have Dedicated files on innocent women and children in this state.
You only sent the dedicated File Mr. Martin, not the files I requested exposing the corruption of the CDC money nor the hidden files I know about, of the false statements submitted so your political office can distribute per whim what you know for fact is not true or honest by choice in files you cannot legally distribute anyway. Your purpose Mr. Martin was to force me to go over the edge as you stated was a basis for your original illegal invasion of privacy and illegal intrusion and the creation of the Distributed Political files on me at the orders of Charlie Crist. Hoping I would and you could at last justify it all, well, not yet, not now, not today and likely not tomorrow. I just have no history of it.
How many attorneys are involved in pay offs under the Distribution of Funds in Florida Mr. Martin, as you are one though you never disclosed it? How many do exactly what you choose in this state sir, and how much and how many cases do they get sent to do so? We now about the cash pay off by Crists office to the Legal Aide Society for millions and we know Tipton rushed to let you know the minute he was aware I knew, and gosh what a pay off you must have in store for his breach of Legal Confidentiality in the future.wasnt Rep. Brandenburg under formal investigation with the FBI recently? Was she buying her way out under the FDLE directions at your choosing? Is that why he appeared more a covert informer than an assistant?
Is that how you got her to falsify the reports you stated were sent to youoh wait, the reports she said I never sent her you got her to say instead.
Where is the Carol Adami letter they spoke of as having been the only letter sent Mr. Martin of the FOIA who sent the Dedicated files as if to slap me in the face because goodness it just felt good to beat up women every once in a while when the chance comes.
After all Charlie Crist has already sent out the code on me, permission given in 2006 to take any shot at her any of you choose right sirs?
To the media, Carol Adami killed another woman, as she is attempting to kill me, by intentional misdiagnosis of cancer. She advertises for the GE mammogram machines openly. GE is a product that has stock with the Susan G. Komen foundation. The founder of Komen, you know the woman who made a promise was created out of the Bush administration to make us all look like fools, and them rich. They donated so much money to Bush fundraisings, he invited them to help plan his ball and gave the Corporate Business Husband a pet name for the Republican Party. Charlie Crist brought Komen into PB County several years ago. One it was used to illegally disqualify women out of the Federal CDC center funding, based on rules of only state run could treat them and saved Jeb Bush and Crist a ton of State Money by sending women home to die and they pocketing the money. Komen founders then make money off Komen and feed it back to the Rep. Party.
CDC has been forking out a ton, let us say millions, likely however billions. to special interests groups under radar of detection with the help of the AHCA and People Like FDLE here who had full knowledge it was going on and likely tapping into a few million of its money banks itself, so reporting on CDC fraud would never be in their best interest. Nor the misuse of the VOCA funding by mostly attorneys and Law enforcements.
And you wonder why we are in a desperate state of financial collapse. Ok..some of us are, some of us just write up bogus files to make sure those who stumble on the information cannot be validated on file as having the proof.right FDLE?
We do not put Republicans into office these days because we learned by chance they have no morals and are ethically unsound. We find they do things like use tax dollars to entice young men into illegal relationships or they create Dedicated files of bogus natures to make sure they do not get exposed, or they become so desperate for election they watch as young girls are raped and almost killed and then they push that child even further with the hopes she will go over the edge and all evidences will be gone.
Charlie Crist is a desperate Republican. With the new CDC Director who is very fair by all standards and very straight, there is likely a CDC audit going on even as we speak. That has the office of CDC also desperate. The Southern States were noted as having received the largest CDC funding. Florida happens to be in the South. FDLE receives a portion of CDC Grants. We have not yet, figured out what the grant money is for, where it is going, who exactly got it, what happened to it, because the FOIA, just like the FOIA Mr. Martin here, decided to falsify the reports of CDC distribution into Florida. It is kind of like hiding the chocolate mess we made as children when Mom was coming back in the house. They are all desperately running, even FDLE.
So there lies the bogus files FDLE created on me, under the orders of Charlie Crist. Distributed around the State and Likely Federal levels, all built up nicely with hand picked bits of information, with no shred of reasoning, nor shred of proof yet there it flies around. I would not have believed it, save Mr. Martin was also desperate. My formal request was for the CDC request of investigations, and instead he insisted on leaving those out to expose the corruption of his own office..desperate or is it just me? I expect by exposing it as he did, he was certain to gain a reaction he was hoping for that would distract from the CDC files and the letter Aide to Mary Brandenburg states one Carol Adami who has a history of getting Crist money via special interest groups, wrote, not that the complaint invalid Adami and her documented acts of felony that even Judges noted on court records, but hey, when one is desperate as Charlie Crist and FDLE even Adami appears as a mirage of a good ali.
Now after all the hoopla has passed we are back to asking for the original request to be honored, not lied about as goodness there were so many provable lies on that so called report Martin who is by the way media, a Arbitration attorney FOR FDLE. How about that, does one suspect to protect FDLE he MIGHT just make up facts that are not true? Sadly, yes. He did. Its his job to do so they all tell me.
Now Under the Freedom of Information Act I am requesting the Letter of Carol Adami, in response to the exposure of her killing of women in this state FDLE has long approved of on record and looked the other way on, and if there is any SS #, or Mr. Martin, and Car Registration, Or, any Private Phone number of the Letter Adami sent, feel very free to block it out, but send that letter and all the others you are withholding immediately.
I have already downloaded the Florida Bar Complaint to be Sent to the White House over what you have already sent sir.
It wont be too hard to add to it.
Thank you, ever so much for all your dedicated service to the citizens of the State of Florida that make sure you have not lost your house yet as many state agents have ensured the public has lost theirs.
You have a great day.

Teva Sunkosi 2 water shoe
June 15, 2009
As a concept, water shoes are a fine idea. But we've suffered painful scrapes and blisters from poorly designed amphibious footwear, and frowned over many models that didn't dry as quickly as advertised. But Teva's Sunkosi 2 performed well, and proved to be exceptionally comfortable during numerous paddling trips, including an 18-day rafting journey down the Grand Canyon. Our testers said these shoes were not only easy on the feet, but they were also some of the most durable water shoes they've worn.

Immediately after my doctor told me I had breast cancer, I told him I was having a bilateral mastectomy. There was no doubt in my mind that on drop of cancer meant that both my breasts were going. This was before I even knew about my genetic mutation. As soon as I got through all the scary screening (bone scan, chest x-ray, blood work), I started focusing on breast doctors and plastic surgeons. I made my decision pretty quickly and was ready to go. My path was clearly defined. I would have the mastectomy, have expanders put in place, go through several months of expanding and ultimately exchange the expanders for my implants.
While I knew there were several other breast reconstruction options, none of these were an option for me and I didn’t even bother reading or discussing any of them. I made up my mind and had the surgery. So this weekend was a completely eye-opening experience as I talked to women about their DIEPS, GAPS, one-step with Alloderm and their nipple sparing mastectomies. Im sure theres others that Ive missed so feel free to chime in if Im missing something. Not only did I hear about them, I got to see them and even touch them. From 8p-11p each night in the show and tell suite reserved for women only, women lifted their shirts and discussed their experiences. Choosing a mastectomy is a tough and emotional journey—especially for previvors—who haven’t had cancer and it’s so wonderful that FORCE provides this avenue for women to share their experiences, see the results and get answers to their questions first-hand.

My earliest memory of interacting with my father is of the moment when I told him, after the last practice before the first game, that I did not want to be on the little league football team after all. I can’t recall what made me think I wanted to do that in the first place, but after two or three practices that seemed to consist of nothing but having oafs pound me on the helmet and shoulder pads, I had had enough. My father threw a screaming temper tantrum, which I only realized some 30-odd years later, traumatized me and, I think, soured my relationship with him until I was middle-aged.
Which is really a shame, because overall, my father is a great guy. My friends always like him when they meet him. And, as my mother always points out when the subject comes up, he and I are exactly alike, only I tend to be rather more liberal than he is. We are both unabashedly profane and unbendingly confident of our own opinions. But we are also both very solicitous of the needs of children. Indeed, my father is a total at heart, even if he has been known to scare law enforcement officers with his outbursts, always delivered with a torrent of obscenities. But, of course, I am by no means original in pointing out that people who are just alike often do not get along well. Only because my little brother is not exactly like him can the two of them work together. Also, I would sooner dip bamboo shoots in jalapeno juice and stick them under my own fingernails than earn my living building houses in central Oklahoma.

These are some photos of the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer in Boston MA on May 16th 2009. While the event was held in these are pictures of the finish line that was actually in Canton MA. The big buildings that are in the background of some of the photos belong to Reebok (tennis shoes). The finish line area, sponsor tents, shower area and camping area for the walkers all fit on Reeboks campus with plenty of room to spare.

I entered crisis mode on making my walking shoes last longer when I learned that my favorite running shoe, the New Balance 825, has been discontinued. I've ordered the replacement version, but it is very different. I scooped up the last pair in my size from Zappos. How can I make these last two pair last through the summer and autumn? Give me your tips on how you make your walking shoes last longer.

The next day, I slept late, did errands, walked the dog, took a nap in the afternoon, and went out to a local amateur mystery-dinner-theater production that several friends were appearing in. I wore my new dress, and enjoyed seeing one of my oldest pals in Rhode Island play a Russian ice dancer with a really bad accent! The next day I worked, as I do every Sunday. That brings us up to this week just past. When people asked me how I was, I was able to say truthfully that I was splendid. The weather continued to be springlike, the sun shone, the flowers bloomed, my tax refund was direct-deposited, I had no cancer, the world was my sandbox. Then the stress of the last month caught up with me, and I spent the next few days sleeping it off like a hangover. But I got to finish my work week by noon on Thursday. So today, I felt pretty bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when I got up this morning. I got my hair done, caught up with my email, and still had the afternoon ahead of me. For the first time in months, I actually had the wherewithall to contemplate cleaning my house.
This is not a small thing. There are several discussion threads on the online breast cancer forum I belong to which discuss the many-splendored variations of fatigue and post-traumatic stress disorder which visit those of us being treated for breast cancer. Fatigue and stress in these circumstances are the subjects of many research studies and seminar papers. I personally belong to two separate discussion threads which are both devoted to bemoaning the inability of the average breast cancer survivor to contemplate any serious housework. Our lamentations are many, and these two threads are two of the most-visited on the forum. So, I assure you, reviving the ability to give a rodents derriere about the state of ones house and then mustering up the energy to address that state is a very significant watershed in ones recovery.
What finally did it for me, in addition to unbridled relief and a couple of solid nights worth of sleep, was the startling realization that I can no longer find anything in my house anymore. I mean, anything. I go to the store for kitty crunchies and hair conditioner, I come home, walk into the pantry to deposit the bag of crunchies, then visit the bathroom, and suddenly, I cant find the hair conditioner. This happens at least once a day. I spend an alarming amount of time walking around my really very small house and its very small rooms looking for my new tube of lipstick or my overdue library books or the mate to the zebra-striped hoop earring in my hand that I wanted to wear with my new blouse, that I was planning to wear with those black T-strap heels I got last summer but cant find in the bottom of my closet.
Enough! Finito! Cancer has wreaked quite enough havoc upon my life, thank you very much! I cant find the top of my desk, Ive gained 10 pounds, and I have dust bunnies the size of Bengal tigers under my bed. Tomorrow, I start taking my life, my waistline and my home back from the clutches of the Beast!! As soon as I find those new vacuum-cleaner bags I bought the other day.

Belly fat does nasty things to the rest of you body, not just your looks. It actually produces chemicals that promote inflammation in other areas of your body, which is how it increases your risk of type 2 diabetes. Now a study of mice has shown that moderate intensity exercise, such as walking 30 to 45 minutes a day, five days a week, can keep belly fat from producing those effects. This was seen even if the mice didn't lose any belly fat with their increase in exercise.
More info at Medical News Today If you are walking for weight loss, you may get discouraged if the fat isn't coming off very fast. This study should help reassure you that the walking is doing good things for your health even without losing the fat. If you are walking for health, this study is further confirmation about how moderate exercise reduces your risk for type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Take your Vitamin W - get out an walk most days of the week.

From Sylvester we took the long, but beautiful, drive to Americus.
The farm was gorgeous, the people were nice, and the food was good. We began making friends that evening through sessions, small groups, and food. But above all, we were exhausted. We eventually cleaned and climbed into bed, ready for a good night’s sleep. When we woke up, we were all refreshed and while it was storming and pouring rain, we were ready for a wonderful day. We had a gorgeous contemplative worship service on Sunday morning before we hit our group leader’s homes for breakfast. My group leader, Kurt, made farm fresh eggs with veggies, oatmeal, grits, and pastries. We sat around chatting about composting toilets, holidays, and community. My group was somewhat multi-generational. There were three girls and about 5 boys. The two other ladies were college students as were a handful of the men. A couple of the men were older. We represented a few states, but most of the group was from Georgia.
The day continued and included more food, meeting the community animals (including a precious kitten named Oliver), and had some interesting sessions. Tim Otto (who wrote a book on my bookshelf!) lead most of the sessions, but members of Koinonia and Jubilee (Koinonia’s daughter community) also lead a few sessions. We discussed love, grace, Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, books, and life. We discussed privilege and power, which means a great deal more than wealth. I have a lot of power and privilege as an advocate for the GLBTQ community simply because I am heterosexual. I have a great deal of power and privilege because I am an educated, white woman. I cannot change these pieces of me, but I can use my power and privilege for good rather than evil. Like the Good Samaritan who used his wealth to care for the marginalized, I want to live my life in a way that honors the marginalized.
We talked about love and commitment, which means a lot to me as I am preparing for marriage in 3 short months. The world does not speak much of lifelong commitment, but monasticism does. Monks take a vow of stability, committing to live in one place for life, regardless. They have no idea what that community is going to look like in 40 years, but they commit. I do not know what my life is going to look like with Jarrod in 40 years, but I am committing to spending the rest of our lives together. In the same way, I learned that this commitment and love is not meant entirely for the community. The healthy marriage is not intended to simply bless the couple, but the world. In community (family, marriage, intentional living communities, etc) there is a duality that rests on strengthening a community internally while also reaching out to outsiders. These two key points cannot exist without each other.
At Epworth we take it very serious to pray together every night. Very few things get in my way from being at the table by 10pm. We read a Psalm and talk about what is going on in our lives. We talk about how things are in our souls and what the spirit is doing in our lives. We lift up prayer concerns and joys of our community and pray together. This is crucial. Intentional community, healthy community does not just happen because of mutual space, but through shared experience, prayer, concern, and love.
We left Koinonia changed people. The world is different now because of that experience. While I do not think that I will be living in a large intentional community anytime in the next few years, I know that I will take what I have learned as I enter into a very small intentional community between Jarrod and I. (and our cats and dog…) I am especially excited to see how we can begin to balance serving each other and loving our community. While life is stressful in transition, it is also exciting to be on the brink of a huge adventure.

Today I officially registered for the 3-day Breast Cancer walk in Seattle, taking place in mid September '09 - then I wondered what I had gotten myself into! I immediately went to the New Balance store in Bellevue Square to get properly outfitted with my first pair of training shoes - a blue and silver pair of 859s, along with several pairs of awesome socks, a 'save the boobs' breast cancer hat, and some very PINK accessories. I later went out and did some cross training and went for a short walk.

For my new Invisible Friends, Twirl is the story of a feisty, sassy ballerina named Vivi and her handsome cowboy named Wade. After falling in love swaying on the dance floor to the sound of a fiddle and steel guitar, the couple have stumbled onto a old Texas legend that might possibly lead to riches! On top of everything, Vivi is fighting her controlling father and over involved dance teacher, who are trying to trap her into a life she may not want. Add in a mysterious secret with her mother, a scheming evil boy in her dance class and regular teen angst and youve got DRAMA!
Vivi tapped her toe shoe impatiently against the wooden floorboards of the dance studio. Mrs. Angelson was shuffling through sheet music, firing directions at the weary piano player in bitter French. Her friend Susanne looked over her and stifled a laugh.
Do you have to pee, Vivi? she whispered, leaning over the barre. re dancing around like you have ants in your pants.
Vivi snorted. I dont think Ive heard anyone say that since the third grade, Susanne.s making a comeback, Susanne teased. Leaning in closer, she whispered, Did you get in trouble for being gone all weekend
Vivi rolled her eyes. He didnt care I was gone. He was just mad I missed practice. Apparantly theres all sorts of scouts coming to this competition and he wants to show off to them. Vivi watched as Mrs. Angelson fussed with the piano player. You know, I think something weird happened with my dad and mom in the past. What do you mean? Susanne asked.
My dad is on this like secret mission to make me a star and prove something, Vivi whispered, her eyes darting around the room to make sure none of the other dancers were listening. And my mom said something the other day.Maybe you could look it up, Susanne suggested. If your parents were as hot as you said in the art world, society columnists had to write something up on them. Or those high-end fashion magazines, like Elle or Vogue.s too bad we live in such a small town, Vivi grumbled. I dont think our library has seen a fashion magazine since the 1800s.
Susanne snapped her fingers. You know, my mom works with that lady that used to be a model. Ive been to her house. Shes got boxes and boxes of fashion magazines in the atticfrom the 70s to now. She collects them. I bet we can go over there tomorrow after practice and check it out.d be great, Vivi replied, her voice rising with excitement. ve got to meet Wade tonight, but tomorrow would be great. We could go after school, before class here. Susanne teased, making kissing noises. How is Wade? Yall are getting pretty hot and heavy pretty quick. No, its not like that, Vivi argued, her face flushing red. You see, we found Mrs. Angelson peered down at her through cat-eyed glasses, her lips pursued in disapproval. m sure your father would not be amused to see you gossiping instead of working on your turn out, as you were instructed. No ma Vivi replied politely. Normally she would have fired off a smart comment, but today she didnt want to cause trouble. She just wanted to get out of class. Her eyes strayed toward the window. She could see the dance hall from here, the neon lights twinkling in the falling dusk. Wades truck shone under the streetlight. She thought about the clue shed figured out last night and tapped her toe against the floor impatiently. They had both agreed it was too dangerous to talk about over the phone. The hours had been crawling by like molasses all day. And she still had another hour to go Mrs. Angelson clapped hard in front of her face. Are you listening?s eyes snapped back to Mrs. Angelsons face. m sorry, maam. I was thinking.About what? Mrs. Angelson countered, crossing her arms over her chest.
About the compeition, Vivi lied. My father was telling me how important it was this weekened.Oh yes. A smile that was more befitting to a crocodile than a woman stretched across Mrs. Angelsons thin face. In fact, Im glad you mentioned that. Id like to talk to you after class, Vivi. I have a new routine I want you to learn. Vivi protested. But the competition is coming up so soon! Ive been learning this one for ages.
Mrs. Angelson raised an eyebrow. Do you dare argue with me, Vivienne? Shall I discuss it with your father? She stepped closer, her eyes smug. Do I need to tell him about how you spend your time after class? She smirked, tapping the toe of her high heel against the floor. Her eyes flickered to the dance hall, then back at Vivi.
Vivi swallowed hard and pressed her lips together to keep from screaming. No ma Mrs. Angelsons heels clicked across the wooden floor as she strode back to the front of the room. Vivi, you and Damien in the center please. I want to see counts 8 through 32. Start with the side leap, follow through with the lift and end with the double pique turns. Five, six, seven, eight.
Gritting her teeth, Vivi leaped across the room toward Damien. He grabbed her hips and lifted her up into the air, lowering her into an arabsque and taking her palms.
So what are you talking to Wade about? he murmured in her ear as they glided across the room.
None of your business, Vivi forced out through her locked jaw. Back off, Damien. She jutted her hip into his side and grinned when he hissed in pain.
You know, I looked up that legend, Damien muttered as she twirled across the room away from him. He watched her spin back and stepped over to her, pulling her into a pose. As she extended her back leg, he twirled her around on her standing toe like a ballerina in a music box. I can help find the treasure, he whispered in her ear as he lifted her above his head. ve got a lot of cash. We could hire people and get the best equipment. Ill split the findings with you 50-50. Vivi snarled. She twisted out of his grasp, lifting her leg into the air and tiptoeing across the floor in her toe shoes. Damien leaped past her, sweeping his foot out and landing on one knee in front of her.
I can be very persuasive, Vivi. Damien grinned. Vivi glared at him as Mrs. Angelson clapped her hands.
Very good, Vivi and Damien, she praised. Peering down her nose at Vivi, she raised an eyebrow. I remembered I have an appointment with a parent after class, Vivienne. Well talk about your routine later.Yes ma Vivi replied, wondering if her teacher could see her cheering on the inside. The last thing she wanted to do was learn a new routine. The more she could put it off, the more likely she wouldnt have to learn one. Her father wouldnt jeopardize chances of her winning to fulfill Mrs. Angelsons artistic whims.
The second class was over, Vivi darted out of the building and towards the dancehall. She didnt even bother to change out of her tights and leotard, simply slipping her tennis shoes and warm up skirt over her tights. Several men whistled as she burst through the door, but Vivi ignored them. Wade was behind the bar, refilling ice in the soda machines for Hilda. Vivi dropped her bag on the counter and slid under the partition.
s my tiny dancer? Wade grinned, wrapping his arms around her and giving her a kiss. You look cute in your leotard and skirt.
Vivi made a face. And you look cute all sweaty and dripping, she teased, poking at his wet shirt. ve been working hard?
A slow grin spread over Wades face. Nah. Just cant seem to manage ice without dumping it all over myself.s for sure, Hilda snorted, coming by with a tray of drinks. Vivi, go to the kitchen and grab you something, she ordered over her shoulder. You need energy for all that dancing you do.
Wade wrapped his arms around Vivis waist. So tell me, he said, his voice full of excitement. s the clue? Ive been dying to find out.
Vivi opened her mouth, but nothing came out. Her eyes wide, she pointed behind Wade.
The woman wearing black in the corner raised a withered hand and wiggled long fingernails. She smiled, revealing a row of blackened teeth.
Well, hell, Wade said.

We leave bright and early Saturday morning for Orlando!! I have new DS games, new movies, and new books, markers, crayons, coloring books, etc., all stashed away and ready to be pulled out at that first moment of boredom. The car seats have been washed, the car cleaned out, and most of the things that can be packed ahead of time is ready to go. Now the mental preparation begins :)
We started this week out on a rough note. Dylan had a croup attack on Friday night. We ALMOST went to the ER, but managed to control it from home this time with steroids and breathing treatments and a long night in a steamy bathroom. He has been fine ever since, other than his normal asthma cough every now and then. THEN, Adam had a croup attack on Sunday night. Again, we ALMOST went to the ER, and we probably should have. He was the worst I have ever seen him, but we did manage to control it from home. I think I have built too much confidence from all of Dylan's experiences to handle things on my own. Have I ever told you how much I hate going to the ER? Anyway, I did take him to the doc on Monday and she put him on an antibiotic and gave him 2 steroid shots. On Wednesday, he went downhill again, and back to the doc we went. Have I ever told you how much I hate going to the doctor's office? Now he is on Tamaflu. Nice. My hope is that he gets better before Saturday, and nobody else gets what he has!!! Can I be that lucky???
Regan has 2 loose teeth...she wanted me to add that in here. She wiggles them everyday. I guess I wouldn't go so far as to say they are "loose", but they do wiggle...a little. hee hee. She wants to lose a tooth so bad! I need to find some tooth fairy pillows soon.
I don't have any new pictures to post, but I know I will have TONS when we get back next weekend. I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!!.

Can your company establish an attendance policy? Yes. Are you allowed sick days?
Yes, in most cases. What are the guidelines in this situation?
The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 requires employers with more than 50 em-
ployees to provide a certain term of unpaid leave time for serious illness of self, child,
spouse, or parent. Here are some of the specifics of this act:
During a year, employees are allowed 12 weeks of unpaid leave.
Employers must give employees the same or equivalent position when they
return.
Employees are allowed a reduced work sched-
ule for the same time period if needed.
Employers must continue to provide benefits
during the unpaid leave.
Its important that you treat your employer with
as much consideration as possible. Try to give as
much notice as you can, be available during speci-
fied times to answer calls from co-workers if you
take sick days or an extended leave, or even go in
to the office to check on things on your
days. By doing so, youll help build a mutually re-
spectful relationship with your employer and your
colleagues.
Letting Others In
In addition to issues of job performance, youll also
need to deal with your colleagues on a personal
level as well, at least to some degree. And just as is
true among your friends and family, youll face a host
of reactions when the news of your diagnosis spreads
throughout the office (which it almost certainly will,
no matter how discreet you try to be.) Some people
will assume that youll just pack up your tent and go
home. Others will pity you. Others will offer just the
right amounts of support and respect for your privacy.
Do remember that you have the right to keep your
private affairs private at all times. But it probably
makes sense to let certain people in on your condi-
tion, if only to allow them to support you when
youre not feeling well or need time off.
When you talk to your colleagues, its important to re-
main as professional as possible. Depending on the
tone of the workplace, as well as your relationship to
your co-workers, you could always try adding a little
humor to the announcement. When people can
laugh, they have distance from the problem and are
able to cope with things. Humor also helps ease the
pain, both emotionally and physically.
If there are others in your company who have had
breast cancer, form a support group, or join any that
they already offer. Since cancer, directly or indirectly
affects about one in three women, its very likely that
youre not the only one in your company who has
faced this disease.
Protecting Yourself at Work
What if you dont have workplace options? What if
you dont feel youre being treated fairly because you
have breast cancer?
If you feel that your cancer has caused others in your
workplace to discriminate against you, take action.
First, talk with someone in your human resources de-
partment, your boss (if your boss is not involved in
the discrimination), or a support group. Find someone
who is familiar with workplace discrimination to not
only give you good advice and direction but also save
you hours of researching, legal fees, and even hurt
feelings.
Youll also want to know your legal rights. Fortunately, you have plenty of those,
thanks in large part to the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which prohibits em-
ployers from discriminating against handicapped workers, including those women
and men with breast cancer.
Although these federal guidelines apply to all 50 states, not every company in every
state has to follow them. In fact, federal laws only apply to those who work for the
federal government, employers who receive funding from the federal government, or
private companies who have 25 or more employees. That means that if you work for a
small firm with just six workers, you may have to turn to an applicable state lawif
there is onefor help. Which also means you might have to get in the trenches and
do some legal research yourself.

Employers must give employees the same or equivalent position when they
return.

E-mail spam, also known as bulk or junk e-mail is a subset of spam that involves sending nearly identical messages to numerous recipients by e-mail. A common synonym for spam is unsolicited bulk e-mail (UBE). Some definitions of spam specifically include the aspects of email that is unsolicited and sent in bulk. UCE refers specifically to Unsolicited Commercial E-mail.
In a normal situation you should definitelly not want such thing in your e-mail inbox, however, this website is meant to do exactly the opposite: get as many spam messages as possible, clean them of any harmful stuff (adult images, links to dubious websites and others) and present them to you to research or whatever you want them for.
